I wanted to launch a year-long community initiative through my company, RSM Domestic Appliances, as a way of helping people who get overlooked by society. I asked Carol Miller to provide the scheme with Public Relations that would help generate interest and publicity in the initiative and the company.
Carol’s knowledge and experience were invaluable in developing the messaging around the project, RSM Community Support Scheme. Her diligence and professionalism was invaluable in ensuring constant communication and helped to encourage support from other local businesses as well as interest from Woking Borough Council. This included a visit to RSM’s outlet in Knaphill, Surrey, by the Mayor of Woking and resulted in RSM winning recognition as a finalist in the BBC local Hero award 2017. Our community support received regular local newspaper coverage and articles in the trade press. Carol also provided support for our website and collaborated with our sales and marketing team.
